Made of a supple leather, features brass plated hardware, double buckle crown, snap on the side, adjustable chin, rolled throat and is self padded on the noseband, crown piece and the cheek pieces. This halter is great for anything from turn-out to trailering.

Cheap and tacky
The halter arrived with tarnished, scuffed up hardware that is already turning green. The hardware is also so flimsy that it would never hold up to a horse. The halter is padded but not with leather, it is some kind of naugahyde. Cheap and nasty junk that I will not be using on my horse, and Equestrian Collections want me to pay the shipping both ways for a return! You lost yourself a customer after the first transaction.

Great quality leather
The leather is so soft and buttery! I was honestly surprised at the quality because I only paid $25 for the halter. I've bought some pretty expensive leather halters in the past ($100+) and this one is honestly by far the nicest one I've bought. Definitely going to buy more!

Looks pretty... for a while
I paid $17 but even still I wouldn't buy again - the leather is OK but the fittings are not stainless, or strong.

I got this on sale - the oversize was small compared to other brands but still fit comfortably on the largest rung (18h Hanoverian mare). Soft and padded, great value, I wish I bought two.

Amazing Halter
This halter is very soft leather while still being sturdy. Looks beautiful on the horse! Can't comment as far as hardware durability but I love this halter!

Nice, but....
Great leather, nice padding! Unfortunately, the hardware did not hold up. One good pull from my horse and a ring snapped with no way of fixing it.
