Nice cotton lead rope. 10 foot is very long for a normal lead. I would like to exchange for shorter and width of rope could be a little bigger.

value for the money
I hate a short lead, but a lot of 10' cotton leads are so bulky. This one is just slightly smaller circumference and so much easier to tie, and holds a knot. Loved it!

bolt snaps inferior but that seems to be all there is now
sigh...how i wish for the older style (even if more expensive) brass bolt snaps that did not deteriorate with weather and use.

Snaps aren't the largest/strongest/toughest but they will hold a horse behaving just fine. I like the lead tied to the snap rather than clamped. The clamps keep.letting go. With enough spinnjng around, Eventually the snaps go too. But that goes for clamped leads too. The clamps always let go or get pulled apart. Rather have the tied leads thanks. Hey Gatsby! Upgrade your snaps and uoh really got something!

The halter will work just fine, but the lead rope seems like it might be better for perhaps a Great Dane, but a bit doubtful for a normal strong horse.

good lead for the price. I only buy leads with solid brass snaps as any other kind always breaks with daily use. the length of this rope is great for babies learning to walk and wrap behind them

You get what you pay for.
They were such a good price I bought four or five of them the only problem is they are already starting to fall apart at the snap where the Rope attaches. So the saying goes you get what you pay for
